Perisher Epic Promise Day 2017
Perisher staff collectively worked 570 hours on two trail building and maintenance projects in the Jindabyne Sailing club, and Widows Creek to develop the network of bike and walking trails. Over 140 Perisher staff members assisted The Jindabyne Trail Stewardship team and Snowy Monaro Regional Council to maintain and build new shared trails, remove and recycle green waste from the area. This was all completed on Melbourne Cup Day 2017
Jindabyne Trail Stewardship works in cooperation with Snowy Monaro Regional Council in maintaining and managing the Jindabyne network of trails. We will be upgrading existing counters as part of our successful Snowy Monaro Community Grants submission to the new TRAFx bike and people counters to gather data the type of use the trails are receiving to better direct our maintenance efforts and future direction of trails.
